RED ROOIBOS TEA: INTRO
Rooibos tea drinkers are popping up all over the world as people are discovering the benefits of this amazing tea. There are two main forms of rooibos tea, red rooibos tea and green rooibos tea. Red Rooibos Tea is the traditional form of rooibos tea. In fact, its nickname is Traditional Rooibos Tea. Rooibos tea is so healthy and important that I decided to make a detailed post for each form of rooibos tea. This post is dedicated to Red Rooibos Tea, and I have another post dedicated to Green Rooibos Tea. Although green rooibos tea is the newer and trendier version of the two, i still enjoy my red rooibos tea. That’s just the kind of guy that I am.

GREEN ROOIBOS TEA: INTRO
The Rooibos Tea section of the Herbal Tea Time community is growing rapidly. I definitely understand why, Rooibos Tea is extremely healthy and is packed with antioxidants. If you are unfamiliar with Rooibos Tea, I suggest reading my Ultimate Guide to Rooibos Tea prior to reading this post. It contains details for both varieties of Roobos Tea, Red Rooibos and Green Rooibos. Since these two types of Rooibos Tea are popular as well, I decided to make an additional post for each one. This post is dedicated to Green Rooibos Tea, and I have an alternate post dedicated to Red Rooibos Tea. The green Rooibos Tea is currently the trendier and more popular version. It contains a higher level of antioxidants. Both forms are derived from the rooibos bush, Aspalathus linearis.

There are literally thousands of herbal tea types and herbal tea blends that people can create depending on their personal preference. I decided to make this article detailing 20 of the most popular herbal tea types and varieties. This will help beginners familiarize themselves with some of the main teas that are easy to find. This is far from an extensive list of all possible herbal teas. Creating a list containing every possible herbal tea blend is impossible. Hopefully this will get you started on making your own herbal tea. You can use any of these teas as a starting point and include additional herbs or plant materials as desired. It is important to remember that the only limit is your imagination.

Herbal tea has been used for thousands of years and is consumed all over the world. Manuscripts from ancient Egypt and China contain references to the use of herbal tea as a natural remedy. The herbal types and varieties help many different ailments and illnesses. Herbal tea is especially popular in China. In China, it is used to treat colds, fever, headaches and enhance health. It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for addressing core issues within the body and mind.
